As Weather Display makes the web site, and not being very good at web site stuff I dont know how to place the sticker/image and link on my site, I have added a text link though "Cumbria Weather Forum" and links to this site.

A wiz kid at 45 !! havent been called before !

I have had a look at your site and as you say I cant do anything further, the link works as it is. I gave up with Weather Display as it made a mess of my pages, it just took over. I admit though some of the charts/graphs it produces are quite good. I especially like the wind scatter graphs etc.

Do you use the Weatherlink programme aswell ?

LOL I have weather link, never used it, you know I just started with this and got used to it, better the devil you know kinda thing. I dont have the web skills you do Paul and weather display does it all for me I just have to tick the right boxes etc. Maybe its cool that we all have different web sites might look a bit boring if we all looked the same. You seem like a real web kid in my eyes I wish I knew what I was doing like you, that was why I asked if there was a html code cos I can add that, the net weather forecast is a html code. Any way dont matter I got the link, a little image with the same text is nice of course but Im sure if people really want to look the text will work just fine. :)

OK - I will see if I can copy the code I use and post it here - OK here goes

"<a href="http://forum.bramptonweather.co.uk/index.php"><img src="images/bannerfans_3972820.jpg" alt="" width="100" height="37" />"
everything between the speach marks, dont use those.

should produce

Code: Select all

<a href="http://forum.bramptonweather.co.uk/index.php"><img src="images/bannerfans_3972820.jpg" alt="" width="100" height="37" />

Impressive site - clearly someone knows alot about programming etc, good layout. Perhaps I may pinch a few ideas !

With Cumbria Links in mind. I have trawled through all the known "wunderground" sites this morning and sent them an email inviting them to the forum.

Also need to work on a new list of all known weather stations in Cumbria

It's not bad is it, very clean and looks good and has the weather on its title page (one thing that I personally like)

have trawled through the websites listed on the Prodata website today - what an array there is, some good, some terrible, but it is one way of picking up ideas for your own site - cheek, theft, plagarism, initiative - you decide.

I still haven't got round to or worked out how to put a photo onto my own site yet!!!
