I was contacted yesterday by the above organisation, It appears our weather forum has come to their attention and has been included on their website as link to the weather in the area !

There are a few walks of interest in Cumbria but the one that caught my eye was that up GDF ( Great Dun Fell) - if you delve down into the walk and the download there are few good old photos of the weather station and articles relating to Gordon Manley. Well worth a read if you have time.

I will see if I can cut and past a few of the relevant bits and add to the forum
