Cumbria Stations - live data

Post by Paul C » Thu Oct 17, 2013 2:40 pm

http://cravenweather.co.uk/Cumbria/

Click on the temp and shows latest rainfall, wind etc

Also - http://cravenweather.co.uk/Cumbria/raw/

If you have any other known stations that update 12-24hrs per day and are fairly constant please let me know

For those with mobile phones ( Darren look away) there is an App available so you can view same on your mobile. I understand there is a paid version but the free section looks OK to me.

As yet I dont know how the bloke has done it, its something I have thought about for a while but never been able to get this far

Look away and sigh.

You'll tell me next that you have an app that allows you to look at a plane in the sky and find out what it is and where it is travelling to and from!
Oh you did - terribly sad.

I'm going to buy you a pen and paper for Christmas.

what do you want for a retirement gift, (I know that you have already got the cardigan):
a rocking chair
marbles
the new book entitled 'how to calculate monthly/seasonal and annual mean temps'
abacus
or a non scientific calculator

Indeed we do - maybe a press release to the Westmorland Gazette calling all weather people to arms.

Paul - I'm not cruel I just like to help people, reach out to them and help them to put things into a sense of proportionality.

Anyway the brief break away is with the wife and child, so the chances of coming back refreshed are not good.
