The last time I had a decent snowfall was 29th January 2015 - 16cm level snow by 0900hrs
I am wondering if next week will deliver similar ?
Here are two charts to look at

same for me 29th/30th Jan - 6cm
this Winter and last have been shockingly snowless here.
In Winter 14/15 i had 17 days of snow lying
Last Winter just 1
This Winter just 3 (all were just a thin covering)

The -10c line - this is close as it gets before melting back towards Greenland - to me its similar to 2015, but a tad closer and wider - I dont know enough about these kind of charts to say much more unfortunatley
Local forecasts have trended colder for the next 48hrs, definte chance of some settling snow I think

Well I think this setup definatley brings snow, ie Eskdalemuir with 38cm - it could have been us, just the way the showers were I guess rather than anything else ?
