Its winter isnt this normal at this time of year?

How did we let our country go like this all this blame culture.

Its gone too far now, I'm sure Paul knows about it in the police, they more into PR now. It was the same for me in the Ambulance service, now teachers, local councils all doing the same, some women on ITV blaming every one cos your 15yo daughter slipped on her front path and broke her hip. Was on news today a school banned valentines cards cos if you don't get one you might be upset! This is the same in the Met Office, Fire, Doctors, Schools, social work you name it, everyone covering their ass. Lets all just stay in bed all day and not go out and maybe no one will ever get hurt!

Paul,
you may have to remove this topic, its causing Carl some stress!!!!
Only joking Carl.

I shan't ask you for your opinion on things like 'injurylawyerforyou .com' - you could go so far into orbit we might not see you again.
However, agree with what you say.

This applies to the BBC as well.

Forecast for today, 'white cloud' - in fact, I hate that term.

Saw a weather forecast on bbc news earlier today (Thomasz Shafernaker) and he said

"The weather though this week aint too bad"

He stressed the 'aint too bad'

I know we will no longer have announcers wearing evening dress and Mary whitehouse is dead and newscasters think they are something special, but please, can we not use correct English.

WHY? WHY?

severe weather warning out for tomorrow 8.11.10. snow/rain/winds, 20-30mm of rain - yet on the BBC 3day weather forecast it's down as 'white cloud' and winds at just 17mph (with stronger winds forecast for the 9th).

All seems a bit of a contradiction
