This is the link from the net weather site, fortunatley I subscribe to the radar. Lets hope it goes live soon.

As for a "forcast" radar I have been using the met O "Invent" site. You can zoom in but not to close as yet. I cant say how accurate it is
Here is an exmple for this afternoon.

Note from Netweather re new radar:

''Good news - hopefully tomorrow will see the initial beta release of the new radar - being the first beta it is likely to still have bugs and will have a (very) limited feature set but hopefully it'll give you all a chance to take a look at the basic functionality, try it out, give your feedback and report any bugs you find.

We're not 100% nailed on for this yet, but I'm pretty hopeful it'll be there tomorrow... ''

New toy to play around with tomorrow then. :D

First impressions:

Like the zoom feature much better than v4 and the map is very nice
- apart from the rainfall - not much else on this beta version, though
much more to come.

As a non-subscriber the obvious Q is.... is it worth subsribing to?

If so, what level of package would you suggest?

the new radar looks great, bit better now they fixed the opacity bug should be really good once its fully up and running.

darrog - I think its deff worth it, you can just get the radar, depends if you want to access all the other charts and maps, maybe paul or some one else would be better to give you advice on that.

Have a look at their website:
http://www.netweather.tv/

The Radar lite version cost £23 annual, well worth it.
