Recent wet Julys

Post by Carl M » Thu Jul 15, 2010 11:04 am

Looking back:

2007 109.4mm
2008 107.8mm
2009 163.0mm
2010 70.2mm so far.

Looking like I might get another 100+mm this year.

Before 2007:

2004 47.1mm
2005 44.2mm
2006 22.4mm

Pattern emerging!

Perhaps this "monsoon" theory is to blame.

I'm on the verge of breaking last years 108mm record for July rainfall. And still nearly two weeks to come.

90mm now and counting!

My wettest Julys have been 1987 (148.9mm); 1988 (148.5mm) and 2009 (140.5mm).
The driest have been 1989 (19.8) and 2006 (23)

Bizarre - last year I had 200.2mm in July

This year seem to have had the least of everyone with just 65.2 mm
this could be my driest in a run of 4
