Looks a spell of wet weather approaching this weekend. 150mm predicted on the highest fells !
Flooding looks likely as we have a wet start already to the year. Plus melting of the remaining snow.

One to keep a very close eye on, 50mm to 80mm widely.

River Irthing burst its banks at Irthing Bridge, Brampton last evening - 2 vehicles stranded, River has dropped to bank top this morning.
River Eden at Carlisle - still rising this morning, usual locations flooded, nothing extreme.
River Eden near Wetheral flooding on the road between Warwick Bridge and Wetheral, 2 vehicles has just become stuck

River Eden at Langwathby, flooding into fields (normal) level appears to have fallen judging from debris

Ullswater - starting to flood at Watermillock (1030hrs)
