Wettest Day - UK Record Holder

Post by Admin1 » Thu Oct 27, 2011 11:53 am

List of Cumbrian record holder for wettest day in a month.

April
22/4/1970 Seathwaite 182.1mm

May
08/05/1984 Seathwaite 172.1mm

November
19/11/2009 Seathwaite 247mm

These are the wettest days in April ,May and November anywhere the UK. 247mm appears to be the second highest 0900-0900hr total.

I am suprised that Cumbria doesnt feature more in the list.
