We have just had one of the coldest Springs on record.
I noticed this week that the Hawthorn is in flower (May blossom).
Isn't this 3 to 4 weeks late?

I think I noticed fields of rape flowering this weekend. Around here they are normally flowering at the end of April/early may I think!

But at least thing are growing better in the garden this year, strawberries starting to flower along with broad beans as well. Could do with some rain now (famous last words?) ...
