I had an excellent and rapid response from the Met Office regards pressure

Looks like no record today but close

Highest on their books was 26/1/1992 with 1048hpa at Carlisle ( closest to Brampton)

Same date for other stations and overall high list

Keswick 1048.4hpa
St Bees 1047.7hpa
Shap 1047.8hpa
Warcop 1047.8hpa

Spadeadam hasnt been running as long so todays high pressure is a record at 1045.7hpa
