after traveling around in the days after this event it was clear that one area had more snow and more severe conditions than elsewhere.

The area between Mungrisedale, Troutbeck, Dockray, Dacre and Greystoke had 10-15cm of level snow

drifting was severe in places covering the roads up to 3 ft deep

the snow has persisted here longest while everywhere else it has melted.

snow drift patches still holding on in that area as of yesterday

last blob of snow melted in this area on wednesday
