Refers to an incident at Lowswater Fell Crabtree Beck - the name has sparked an interest to me but apart from that there is no connection

From an historic point of view, wondered if anyone had rainfall records around this date or diary entries that would support the event

cheers

There was a localized flash flood on the same beck on a day in July 2013 when it didn't rain anywhere else

the road was closed for a while with boulders strewn across the road

One of the news papers did report on it at the time but i cannot find it anymore
