Going by this morning doesn't look that hot a slight downgrade. My location maybe 26.0C max.

Agree Carl - downgrade and all over by Friday with cooler air moving in the from the west

for example showing for next Wednesday showing 23c and showers all day

Metoffice - outlook

"UK Outlook for Wednesday 1 Jul 2015 to Friday 10 Jul 2015:
Quite sunny for most on Wednesday and Thursday with an increasing risk of thundery showers although the west may become cloudier with some rain. Very warm for many for a time, with hot or very hot conditions probably developing in some central and especially southeastern areas, although there is uncertainty in the northward and westward extent of these potentially very hot conditions. Friday onwards heralds a gradual transition to slightly cooler conditions, with some spells of thundery rain spreading eastwards followed by brighter and fresher weather with sunny spells. Into the following week the south and southeast should see the best of the warmer drier conditions, with northern and western areas seeing some rain at times. Temperatures are likely to remain above average, perhaps turning hot again in the south

met office going for 27c for Keswick.

They are usually at least 2c too low on temperatures in heatwaves here

still a possibility of 29-30c somewhere in cumbria, gfs seems to show this in its latest run

Temps have pepped up again on the Met office this morning for Brampton

30th -25c ( shower eve)
1st - 28c ( Thunder 7pm)
2nd - 20c (occ showers)
3rd - 24c (sunny, shower 2300hrs)

I think somewhere in Cumbria 30c is possible as rjd1000 has suggested on the 1st
