Dedicated thread to the pre Christmas storm of 2016

Warnings out, but will it be noteworty ?

At this stage Met Office has best gust as 52mph for Brampton

Tides are low, so guessing not much impact there on the coast
Tree - all have lost leaf along time ago, but we havent had a windy spell for a while
Rain - doesnt look that heavy or sustained, river levels normal or below
Travel - increased Christmas travel perhaps, but business/school runs have dropped off by now

Really want to call this a non-event already

watch out for gusts and winds downgraded up until the day.

50mph gusts for a time maybe.
