2015 was a rather cool year with a very mild finish. The late spring and summer months were disappointingly cool with May and July being much cooler than normal and June and August only around average. January, April, September and October were a little above average but only November and specially December were significantly warmer than normal for those months.

The total rainfall for 2015 was 1244mm (48.9”) which is the second wettest year I have recorded in Scotby (wettest was 2012 with 1260mm). January, May, November and specially December were much wetter than normal. February and June were quite dry but only September and October were much drier than normal.

Mean Max 12.6c (-0.1c)
Mean Min 5.7c (-0.1c)
Mean 9.2c (-0.1c)

Rainfall 1208.4mm
124.6%
Wettest Year on record 1999-2015

Sunshine 1157.4hrs or 95.3% of normal

So based on the figures a slightly cooler year than normal, wetter than average with near normal sunshine.
All that effort for -0.1c below average
In that time I have walked just over 41miles to record the weather each day at 0900hrs, apart from a fortnights holiday
