Perhaps some high rainfall totals today - these are my calculations adding totals on the shoothill floodsite

So far if I am reading it correctly 0900-0900hrs

Honister - 129.8mm

Drumburgh - 13.4mm
Brampton 11.8mm
Carlisle 10.6mm

Between 5am and 9am this morning Honister has had 82mm rainfall - thats just about my Octobers average, what a thoroughly wet place, the rain must come down like stairs rods all night long.

More rain today than I think I had last October. 25 mm from 00 to 12z. Didn't think roads were that bad really. Certainly no Nov 5th 1999 drive south this morning!
