Ice day yesterday maximum -0.4c, minimum last night -3.3c but it warmed up after midnight.

Snow looking very likely tomorrow morning with the chance of 5cms+ away from the coast.

We will see.

I did note the new unit then displayed a temperature of -0.0c ?? - guess an email to MetOffice is next

Sunny all day but feeling cold in that wind
AWS Max 3.0c, cooling off now 2.3c

Snow tomorrow
Brampton now not in warning area, the Solway Triangle effect in play again, we shall see

More cloud this afternoon max 3.8c still have frost on the ground, not expecting any SF here probably a sleety afair or
freezing rain.

Below freezing now -0.3c.

Ordered another ISS (not cheap!) of course it started working again mid-afternoon. Oh well a spare
will come in handy I suppose.

Plenty of winter sun again. Scraped up to 5.6c, but frost and ice just about hung on in the shade.

Snow risk has been reduced by the MetO with Lancashire and Manchester likely to see the heaviest falls.

2-3 cms at best is my prediction away from high ground.

Met Office showing no snow for Brampton at all, light rain 5-6am then dry, heavy rain late morning

Really missing out this Winter - need an easterly or a very strong NW Wind

Temp not freezing yet +0.8c, still have a light SW breeze and a few clouds from time to time

Carl - my Davis has settled down again, I dont think they like damp cloudy weather for a week or more. Todays sun will have helped.

Had a walk up Cold Fell today ( back of Brampton, Hallbankgate) plenty of snow above 1200ft, with deep snow on the summit where it had drifted. Bitterly cold aswell in the breeze.
