I understand Philip Eden ( Meteorologist) passed away today. I was in touch with him on a couple of occasions via email with regards to the record rainfall at Seathwaite several years ago. Sad news.

Always enjoyed listening to Philip on radio five live, always very informative and level headed. Never listened to the station much after he finished doing his forecasts. Very sad to here.
