Just wondered if anyone has any averages to compare

My current annual average (2010-2018) is 14.3 days

February is only at 1.8 days which i imagine is about 4 days below what it should be - this decade we must have had 2 or 3 of the most snowless winters ever.

Met Office estimated 30-year average for me is 15.5 days

Same as Carl, about 4 days here average since 1995. Though 2010 is a bit of an outlier with 29!

my snow falling days currently averages 20.7 days

that's for 2011 to 2018

For the same period, your figure Paul is 22.5 days

although mine does not include sleet only

I used sleet/snow falling as that was what the Met Office requested to be sent ( and still does ) . I would have to go through each spreadsheet to add up just the snow falling days seperatley ??

My figure is likley to be very "accurate"  as I worked night shifts for years as well as early mornings, so was I was in a good position to make a note of the weather, when many may have missed it snow as it occurred in the middle of the night with no trace the follow morning
